Music's always been around me. My dad played clarinet well into my highschool years, both my older sisters danced, and my favorite games growing up incorperated music into their world in some way or another; think Ocarina of Time or the opera scene from Final Fantasy 6.
The first instrument I ever got, technically, was a really, really crappy plastic Ocarina at age 7 or 8. Then an acoustic guitar at around age 13. I took lessons for a while, and continued to come back to it from time to time, but I never really fell in love with it.
When I was 17 or 18, I kept playing with the spare bass guitar at my parents' church on the nights we ate dinner over there, so eventually they bought me my own. It, too, was poked at on and off and eventually put down for while.
Then 2022 hit, I was generally depressed, extra depressed because despite quitting my part time job to focus on classes I still fell behind during the fall semseter. I was so behind by October that I had nothing but free time, and I heard that
I've tried writing my own stuff here and there, but I'm pretty bad at writing the larger structure of songs, so it might be a while before any of that hits this page.
Unless otherwise mentioned, my primary or sole contribution in these is bass guitar.
